A few years ago, the enchanted ice rink (patinoire enchantée) in the Cour des Maréchaux delighted the people of Mulhouse over the festive season, just a stone's throw from our crêperie. Where can you skate today?

The enchanted ice rink, a memory

Set up by city-centre shopkeepers from late November to early January, the enchanted ice rink in the Cour des Maréchaux offered 30-minute sessions, skates included. It has not been brought back in recent years: there was no temporary ice rink in the city centre during the 2024 and 2025 Christmas markets, and none has been announced for 2026 so far.

The full programme of the Mulhouse Christmas market 2026 will be published on 20 October: we will update this article if an ice rink makes a comeback.

The Mulhouse Olympic ice rink

To skate all year round, head to the Olympic ice rink at 47 boulevard Stoessel (tram, "Palais des Sports" stop). Its rink measures 60 × 30 metres, and there is also an ice garden for little ones and ice karting.
